About the Founders:

HL Frankie was co-founded by Samir Lakhani and his wife Sophiya Lakhani, who share a deep passion for food and entrepreneurship. Samir, an engineer by profession, honed his skills while working with Reliance Communication for four years. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to explore the food industry, where he initially took up franchises of various renowned brands. This experience fueled his desire to create something unique, ultimately leading to the birth of HL Frankie.

Sophiya holds a BBA and has completed a certificate course in fashion designing, showcasing her creative talents and business acumen. A fashion designer by passion, she joined Samir in his culinary journey, combining their strengths and creativity. Together, they faced numerous challenges while establishing HL Frankie, driven by their shared vision of offering delicious and innovative street food. Their dedication and hard work paid off as they grew the brand from a small stall on HL College Street into a beloved name in Ahmedabad’s food scene.

Today, Samir and Sophiya continue to lead HL Frankie with the same passion that started it all. They have expanded their offerings to include franchises of their own, allowing other aspiring entrepreneurs to share in the success of HL Frankie. Their journey is a testament to resilience and teamwork, inspiring many in the community.
